AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The 20th-ranked Auburn soccer team will look to continue its winning ways when it plays host to Missouri on Friday night. Kickoff for the conference clash is set for 7 p.m. at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

The Tigers (7-4-0, 3-1-0 SEC) are fresh off a successful road trip in which they won 3-0 at No. 12 Florida and 4-2 at Georgia. Kristen Dodson was involved in six of the team's seven goals, scoring four and assisting two, en route to being named the National Player of the Week and the SEC Offensive Player of the Week.

Auburn has faced Missouri (8-3-0, 3-1-0) six times in program history, with three of those meetings on The Plains. In the last matchup at the Auburn Soccer Complex in 2014, Auburn took the 3-2 decision aided by goals from Casie Ramsier and Dodson.

Auburn and Missouri currently sit third and fourth, respectively, in the league standings with nine points each through four matches.

Dodson paces the orange and blue Tigers in both goals (seven) and assists (five). Casie Ramsier and Courtney Schell each have three goals on the season, while Bri Folds and Brooke Ramsier have both tallied three assists.

After its contest against Missouri on Friday, Auburn returns to the road next Thursday for a battle at Kentucky, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The first 200 fans through the gates will receive a free orange Auburn soccer shirt. Shortly after the conclusion of the match, there will be a postgame fireworks show.

Fans are encouraged to come to the match on Friday night wearing orange to support the Auburn Tigers.

Player to Watch: Haley Gerken

Senior captain Haley Gerken has been a mainstay in the lineup. Gerken has been influential in both the attack and the defense, leading the charge in the team's four shutouts. The Birmingham, Ala. native has amassed 19 career points, 12 of which have come from assists. Gerken has already notched an assist this season in a 4-3 road victory over Samford.

An Auburn Win WouldÃÆ'¢Ãƒ¢'¬¦

A win by Auburn would give the Tigers their second home SEC victory of the season and a 4-1 start to conference play, their best start to the league slate since they went 5-1 in 2007.

On Sept. 30, 1995, Auburn ran wild in a 5-1 thumping of Jacksonville State. The Tigers went on to score five goals in three matches and totaled 43 (fifth-most in program history) on the season.

Scouting Mizzou

The Tigers come into the league duel having won their last three matches by a combined score of 7-2, including a pair of victories in conference. Sarah Luebbert and Allie Hess lead the team in goals with six and five, respectively. Goalkeeper Kelsey Dossey has made 23 saves and boasts a 1.07 goals against average in 2016.
