AUBURN, Ala. - Alizee Michaud and Taylor Russo will travel to Palisades, California to compete in the Qualifying Doubles bracket of the prestigious Riviera/ITA Women's All-American on Tuesday. This will be the fifth-straight year the Tigers have had an athlete compete in the prestigious tournament.

The duo will open up against Carol Zi Yang and Aiwen Zhu of UNLV on Tuesday at 11 a.m. CT. 2016 All-American Michaud advanced to the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championships last season with partner Pleun Burgmans. Michaud and Burgmans were ranked No. 9 in the final Oracle/ITA rankings, which is the highest a finish in Auburn history.

No. 25 Michaud will also compete in the main draw singles bracket beginning Thursday. The junior finished the 2016 season with 21 singles victories, including nine over ranked opponents and also advanced to the NCAA Singles Championships. She is 3-0 this fall after winning the singles title at the Rice Invite on September 25th.

Main draw singles semifinalists, main draw doubles finalists and main draw consolation champions will receive automatic entry into the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, Nov. 3-6 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
