Florida holds a 16-8-1 advantage in the all-time series between the Tigers and Gators, but Auburn has won each of the last two matchups. The series is tied, 4-4-1, in Auburn.

The Tigers ended Florida's 2016 season by defeating the Gators, 3-1, in Gainesville, Fla., in the NCAA Sweet 16 matchup. Auburn advanced to its first NCAA Quarterfinal with the win.

Senior forward Kristen Dodson registered her sixth career brace and third of the season in Auburn's Iron Bowl win. The Tigers' four goals in the in-state rivalry were their most this season.

Auburn went 9-2-0 in SEC play a season ago and finished second in the league. The Tigers are 19-7-3 against conference foes over the last three seasons. That mark includes an 11-3-0 record at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

Auburn is 102-76-22 all-time in October. The Tigers have netted 349 goals (1.75 per match) and allowed 268 (1.34 per match). Over that span, Auburn has secured 72 shutouts, including 57 under head coach Karen Hoppa.

The Auburn defense allowed just one goal in its first four SEC games, marking the first time since 2004 and second time in program history the Tigers had accomplished the feat.

Scouting Florida

Florida is fourth in the SEC with a 5-1-0 record in conference play. The Gators' lone SEC loss came by a 2-1 margin at Texas A&M.

The Gators rank second in the SEC in goals allowed (three) and goals against average (0.50) during conference play. They have pitched a shutout in four of six league games.

Offensively, Florida is led by freshman Deanne Rose and redshirt senior Gabby Seiler. The duo has accounted for 18 and 17 points, respectively, this season.

Player to Watch: Kristen Dodson

A senior leader for the Tigers, Dodson has played her best soccer of the season of late as she has scored four of the team's last six goals, including the sixth brace of her career and third of the season at Alabama. The Aurora, Ill., native continues to climb the Auburn record books as she ranks in the top 10 in goals (28), assists (27), points (83) and game-winning goals (nine).
