FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Auburn men's golf team had four representatives named PING All-Southeast Region, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Saturday.
Senior Trace Crowe, sophomore Brandon Mancheno, junior Jovan Rebula and senior Jacob Solomon earned recognition as the Tigers had the most honorees in the region.
Crowe is the third golfer to be named all-region three times under head coach Nick Clinard, joining Niclass Carlsson and Michael Johnson. He averaged 71.61 strokes per round entering the NCAA Championship and touts 14 rounds below par, including 11 in the 60s.
The Bluffton, S.C. native has secured six top-10 finishes and has been Auburn's top finisher three times this season.
Mancheno earns the honor for the second consecutive season and boasts a 71.85 stroke average per round. He has a team-high 15 rounds below par with 13 in the 60s.
The Jacksonville, Fla. native has been Auburn's best finisher four times in 2018-19, including his first career win at the Tiger Invitational when he shot 4-under. He has registered three other top-10 finishes this season.
Rebula, who was tabbed a PING All-American a season ago, also garnered all-region status in 2017-18. He holds the lowest round average on the team at 70.79 heading into the final tournament of the campaign.
The George, South Africa native has produced 15 rounds under par, including 13 in the 60s, and has been the Tigers' top finisher three times. He became the fifth golfer in program history to win the Southeastern Conference individual title when he won on a 4-hole playoff.
Solomon was selected to the All-Southeast Region team for the second time in his career, also earning the honor in 2016. He is the only Auburn golfer to play in every tournament this season and touts a 71.76 stroke average per round.
The Dublin, Calif. native has racked up four top-10 finishes and 13 rounds below par, including 10 rounds in the 60s.
