BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team has been picked by the league's head coaches to finish seventh overall in the annual Southeastern Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office announced Tuesday.

Texas A&M has been predicted to win the 2019 SEC Championship while South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Florida rounded out the top five. The complete coaches' poll can be found below.

The Tigers are scheduled to play seven of the remaining nine teams that make up the preseason top 10. Auburn is also one of nine SEC teams to be ranked or receive votes in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll.
 
Coming off its fifth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament and 16th double-digit win season under head coach Karen Hoppa, Auburn kicks off its regular season next Thursday, Aug. 22 at South Florida. The Tigers home opener against Syracuse is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
