AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team ends a 25-day drought between games with a matchup against Ole Miss Tuesday at 4 p.m. CT at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

The game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.

STARTING XI

Tuesday will mark 25 days since Auburn played Mississippi State in its season opener. The last two road trips to Texas A&M and LSU have been postponed due to COVID-19.

The Tigers hold a 6-5-2 advantage against the Rebels in games played at the Auburn Soccer Complex, and the two teams have split the last three meetings (1-1-1) in Auburn dating back to 2012.

Five Auburn freshmen started in the team's season opener vs. Mississippi State on Sept. 18 and seven freshmen played 50 or more minutes in the contest. The seven freshmen appearing in the match were the most by a SEC team in its season opener.

Freshman goalie Maddie Prohaska was named the SEC Freshman of the Week and to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week following her performance in the season opener.

Sydney Richards, Auburn's leading returning goal scorer from 2019, kicked off the Tigers scoring in 2020 with a goal in the 56th minute against Mississippi State.

Richards is the first Auburn player to arrive on campus as a true freshman and score five or more goals in her first 20 career games since Casie Ramsier in 2013.

The Tigers are 167-64-19 all-time at the Auburn Soccer Complex and have posted a .500 or better home record in 20 straight seasons.

SCOUTING OLE MISS

Ole Miss enters Tuesday's contest with a 1-0-2 record, coming off a 1-0 loss to Mississippi State on Oct. 2.

Led by senior forward Channing Foster, the Rebels return nine players from its primary starting lineup in 2019, including 25 of 32 goals scored and 18 of 21 assists from a season ago.
