Kozan, Vogelsong in top 10 at Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

AWENDAW, S.C. – Andrew Kozan and Alex Vogelsong are inside the top 10 on the individual leaderboard after the first round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Sunday afternoon.

Kozan is tied for the lead at 4-under (68), while Vogelsong is tied for seventh at 2-under (70). The duo combined for 12 birdies, including eight on the back nine.

As a team, the Tigers are in third at 5-under (283) and trail only Kent State (278) and Missouri (282) at the par-72 Bulls Bay Golf Club.

J.M. Butler is tied for 26th at even par (72). After starting with a 2-over on the back nine, the freshman produced a spotless back nine and shot 2-under in his final nine holes.

C.J. Easley and Graysen Huff are part of a 10-way tie for 37th at 1-over (73). The tandem closed their first circuits strong with pars on 16 on their final 18 holes combined.

Competing as an individual, Wells Padgett is just one shot back at 2-over (74).
