No. 39 LSU defeated No. 47 Auburn by a 4-2 score in a weather-delayed match Sunday afternoon at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge, La.
 
Although Auburn's duo of Tom Wright and Maxwell Giddens got on the board first with a 6-1 doubles victory over Joao Graca and Joey Thomas on court two, LSU claimed the doubles point with 6-4 wins on courts one and three.
 
Auburn again took an early lead in singles, as Jan Galka made quick work of his opponent Tom Pisane on court four, posting a 6-0, 6-0 shutout victory. Tad Maclean gave Auburn a 2-1 team lead with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Joao Graca on court three, but LSU collected wins on courts five, six and one to clinch the match.
 
The Tigers' next home match is Friday, April 2, against No. 9 Ole Miss. First serve is 2 p.m. at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn. Auburn is now 6-12 overall (2-7 SEC) while LSU goes to 11-8 overall (3-5 SEC).
