AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn midfielder Anna Haddock has been named Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI Second Team, the publication announced this week.
Haddock is one of six freshmen from the Southeastern Conference recognized by Top Drawer. A complete list of Top Drawer's Best XI Teams can be found here.
A native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Haddock finished her first season on The Plains as the SEC and Power 5 Conference leader with 10 assists, marking the most among freshmen nationally and the second most by an Auburn freshman since 2000. She added a pair of goals during her freshman campaign and tied or the team lead with 14 points.
Haddock matched the single-game program record with four assists against Kennesaw State to kick off the spring season on Feb. 19 and was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for her performance. She assisted in three straight contests to end the season.
The freshman midfielder was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in the fall and earned United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Southeast Region honors earlier this month.
