Now in his fifth NFL season and playing for his third team, safety Rudy Ford grabbed his first career interception Sunday in what was a breakout performance for the Jaguars in their win over the Buffalo Bills. That and more in this week's Auburn in the NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 9
Josh Bynes, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Following a bye week, Bynes came back incredibly strong with a team-high 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss, in the Ravens' overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings. The 11 tackles were the most he's had in a game since Week 5 of 2018. Bynes, who saw 83 percent of the defensive snaps, was a monster in the run game and has also become a leader in the locker room. He's been huge in helping second-year linebacker Patrick Queen.

Playing at such a consistently high level in the run game. Pleasure to watch. pic.twitter.com/n6RUHmFJmm
Rudy Ford, S, Jacksonville Jaguars
Making his first start for Jacksonville on Sunday, Ford tallied seven tackles, three passes defended and pulled down his first career interception in the third quarter to help the Jaguars upset the Buffalo Bills. On Buffalo's final play, it was Ford who helped force an incompletion. After being brought in as a special teams players, the fifth-year DB worked his way into a contributing role at nickel cornerback where he started Sunday.
From Jaguars' head coach Urban Meyer: "I just love the way he goes about his business. Rudy played exceptional in that game; two third-down stops and QB pressure at the nickel position. I can't imagine much better."

Braden Smith, OL, Indianapolis Colts
In his second week back from injury, Smith looked like his old self in Thursday night's win over the New York Jets. The Colts offensive line had their way with the Jets, rushing for a season-best 260 yards and putting up 532 yards of total offense, and Smith was solid all night in the running game before exiting in the second half with a triceps injury. The former second-round pick earned a PFF grade of 78.4, fifth-highest on the team.
