AUBURN, Ala. – In the final tune-up before the SEC Championship, the Auburn women's golf team will host the Auburn Individual, an individual-only tournament featuring players from Auburn, Alabama, Kansas State, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and South Alabama.

The event will take place Monday and Tuesday from Saugahatchee Country Club (Par 72, 6,250). The first 36 holes will be played Monday with the final 18 holes Tuesday.

Auburn will be without Mychael O'Berry and Megan Schofill who competed in the Augusta National Women's Amateur this past week but will still feature the likes of Anna Foster, Elina Sinz, Julie McCarthy, Kaleigh Telfer and Ashley-Sinclair Curtis in its lineup. All five will be playing as individuals.

McCarthy led the Tigers their last time out, finishing tied for 23rd at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge. The senior, who was playing as an individual in that tournament as well, shot a 4-under 68 in the first round.

This will be Auburn's first home event since hosting an NCAA Regional in May 2019 – also held at Saugahatchee CC. The Tigers finished fifth at the Regional, punching their ticket to the NCAA Championships where they finished tied for third.

There will be a shotgun start Monday with all players scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m. CT. Live scoring can be found on golfstat.com
