AUBURN, Ala. – With just one week left in the regular season, Auburn Volleyball heads up to Columbia, South Carolina for a matchup with the Gamecocks. First serve on Wednesday is set for 1 p.m. CT and the contest will be broadcast on SEC Network-plus.

QUICK HITS
Auburn's victory over Ole Miss gave the Tigers 21 victories on the season, tying the most since 2010. Its 10 SEC wins are also the most since 2015.

Kendal Kemp's nine blocks versus the Rebels helped the Minnesota native capture the single-season record with three matches still to go. Kemp's 1.43 blocks per set also ranks No. 1 in Auburn single-season history if the season ended today and is currently No. 13 in the country.

Fellow freshman Madison Scheer has found a new gear in the month of November. Over the last three matches, Scheer has posted 39 kills on a .329 hitting percentage.

Libero Sarah Morton has been nothing but a dig machine for the Orange and Blue since arriving on the Plains. The Munster, Indiana product has posted at least 10 digs in 22 of the 25 matches she's played so far in her young career.

Akasha Anderson is living among the nation's best when it comes to kills. Her 3.75 kills per set are fifth among freshmen in Division I Volleyball. The number would also be the second-highest total in Auburn history if the season ended today.

SCOUTING SOUTH CAROLINA
Fifth-year head coach Tom Mendoza brings a Gamecock team that's 12-13 overall with a 6-9 mark in the SEC. However, his South Carolina squad has posted big wins over a ranked Florida team and Mississippi State.

Junior middle blocker Ellie Ruprich leads the charge at the net. The Beverly Hills, Michigan product is averaging 1.33 blocks per set, ranking fourth in the SEC and 28th in the Nation.

Libero Jenna Hampton has been given the keys to the defense. Hampton leads the team with 4.34 digs per set, the second-highest mark in the Southeastern Conference.

Much like the Tigers, one of South Carolina's greatest strengths is blocking. As a team, the Gamecocks average 2.67 blocks per set, No. 2 in the SEC and No. 17 in the nation.

AUBURN-SOUTH CAROLINA SERIES
The Tigers own a 19-29 record against South Carolina, including a 10-24 mark in Columbia. Auburn will be looking to snap a six-match losing streak to the Scarlet and Black.
