AUBURN, Ala. – Cassie Stevens of the Auburn gymnastics team was named to the Academic All-American Women’s At-Large team, the College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.
Stevens, who recently concluded her gymnastics career with the Tigers, was placed on the first team for the second-straight year.
The Phoenix, Arizona product currently holds a 4.0 as she pursues her master’s in exercise science. She finished her undergraduate degree in May 2024 with a 4.0 in information systems management.
Stevens was named the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for gymnastics for the second-consecutive season. She secured All-America status in the all-around after putting together a 39.595 NQS, winning five all-around titles in 2024. She also picked up All-SEC recognition for her performances on vault and in the all-around.
Stevens totaled 14 event titles in 2024 and finished among the nation’s best in the all-around, vault and beam. She concluded her career as a four-time WCGA Scholastic All-American and four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll honoree.
For the 2024-25 school year, Stevens will serve as the gymnastics team’s graduate assistant.
