AUBURN, Ala. – Freshman Emily Hallifax made sure to leave an impact on the final day of competition at the Auburn Diving Invitational inside James E. Martin Aquatic Center. Coming dangerously close to a school record on the platform, Hallifax captured the win with Abigail Farrar and Chloe Brothers falling into second and third for an Orange and Blue sweep of the podium.

John Fox’s deadly trio put on a show in prelims. Hallifax came 10 points shy of a school record, dialing up a stellar 318.30. Kyleigh Kidd’s 272.05 and Farrar’s 269.40 was good enough for second and third, respectively. Freshman Chloe Brothers and Kayla Walsh also nestled into the top 12 in the morning round to earn a second list.

In finals, Hallifax made another run at Vennie Dantin’s 328.50, a record that has stood since February of 2012. Although the French international came up shy of Dantin’s massive score, her 307.25 was more than enough to secure the win on Saturday.

Farrar (274.05) and Brothers (264.75) each improved on their second lists to ensure the podium was nothing but Tigers. Kidd would finish fifth and Walsh secured sixth.

Auburn Swimming and Diving will be back in the new year, facing Georgia Tech in dual in Atlanta at historic McAuley Aquatic Center on January 7, 2025.
