AUBURN, Ala. – No. 25 Auburn softball (21-11) continues its four-game road swing as the Tigers trek to Troy (21-12) for a midweek date Wednesday at the Troy Softball Complex.
“We’ve had to regroup a little since the weekend,” said co-head coach Chris Malveaux. “We’ve got to keep our mindset sharp and in attack mode. We’ve got to be ready for Wednesday and understand that the midweek games are big games.”
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. CT. Wednesday’s contest is available on ESPN+. JJ Jackson will have radio coverage live from Troy on WEGL 91.1 FM and the Auburn Sports Network.

The Trojans are returning to the Troy Softball Complex after dropping a Sun Belt Conference series at Southern Miss. Troy salvaged Sunday’s game with a 6-2 win to prevent the sweep. Auburn is looking to return to the win column after being swept by No. 2 Texas in Austin.

AnnaLea Adams continues to be the hottest hitter in the lineup for the Tigers. In the last 20 games, Adams is hitting .500 with five doubles, five home runs and 17 RBI. Despite not playing in 11 of Auburn’s 32 games, the freshman still ranks in the top five among the team in hits (27), RBI (20), total bases (50), doubles (5) and home runs (6) this season.
Auburn has already matched 84 percent of its 2024 home run total of 45 after slugging 38 through the first 32 games. Anna Wohlers ranks 19th in the SEC in total home runs as she leads the team with nine. She also leads the Tigers with 26 RBI.
Wohlers joins Icess Tresvik (6) and Nelia Peralta (6) as returning starters that have already surpassed their 2024 home run totals while Abbey Smith, Rose Roach and Kylie Brockman have all hit the first home runs of their respective careers.
SJ Geurin ranks fifth in the country and second in the SEC with 14 wins this season. She has been directly involved in 18 of Auburn’s 21 victories by either recording the win or the save. She leads Auburn with a 2.41 earned run average and 58 strikeouts.
