AUBURN, Ala. - Eighteen Tigers received All-America honors after successful performances at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) Monday.

Last weekend, eighteen student-athletes competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon at historic Hayward Field on the University of Oregon’s campus. The team was represented by 13 individuals in 12 different events and two relays.

The men finished with 35 points to secure fourth place and earned their third consecutive national trophy. This marked the first time the Auburn men had consecutive top five finishes at outdoor nationals since 2007-08. The women tied for 34th as a team with eight points.

The top eight individual finishers and relay teams in their respective events took home First-Team All-America honors; Second-Team All-America honors went to those who finished between ninth and 16th. Honorable mention went to the student-athletes who placed 17th through 24th in their respective events.

First Team distinctions were awarded to seniors Adrienne Adams, Makanakaishe Charamba and Dario Mata, junior Azeem Fahmi, sophomores Kayinsola Ajayi, Ja’Kobe Tharp and Ana-Liese Torian, and freshman Israel Okon.

Second Team All-America accolades were given to seniors Kyle Brown, Ashantae Harvey, Vimbayi Maisvorewa, Matau and Kyle Moison, junior Megan Hague, sophomores Deborah Oke and Zuriel Reed, and freshman Brenda Jepchirchir.

Honorable mentions went to junior Seth Allen, junior Alyssa Quinones-Mixon and Jepchirchir.

Tharp won his second national title, running the best race of his Auburn career in the 110m hurdles. His time of 13.05 was the fifth fastest collegiate time ever and the third fastest time in the world in 2025. As the 2025 NCAA indoor champion in the 60m hurdles, Tharp become the seventh Auburn student-athlete to win indoor and outdoor titles in the same year.

The quartet of Fahmi, Ajayi, Matau, and Charamba took the title in the 4x100m relay for the second year in a row (38.33). They became the first repeat champions in the event since head coach Leroy Burrell’s Houston teams did it in 2017 and 2018.

Charamba also competed in the 200m, where he equaled his school record (19.92) to claim silver in the race. It marked the Tigers’ best finish at outdoor nationals in the event since Coby Miller was second in 2000.

For the second consecutive year, Auburn had two men in the 100m finals. Ajayi’s time of 10.13 was good enough for fourth and Okon crossed the line in seventh (10.18).

Brown concluded his Auburn career with Second Team honors after a collegiate best throw of 68.51m to finish ninth in the hammer throw. This was Brown’s best showing at the outdoor championships since he finished 21st in 2023 and 19th in 2022.

Moison finished 14th with a 66.84m throw and secured Second Team honors.

Allen finished discus throw in 20th with a mark of 54.88m. He was Auburn's first qualifier in the event since Stephen Saenz in 2012.

In the 200m, Matau crossed the line in 20.76 and was awarded honorable mention.

On the women’s side, Adams had a career day in discus throw. She improved upon her personal best by almost three meters and broke the program record mark to finish sixth overall (60.55m).
