AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn equestrian team will be the No. 1 seed at the 2026 National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championships, the NCEA Selection Committee announced Tuesday.
The nation’s top eight teams will compete for the NCEA National Championship, April 16-18, at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
Auburn’s quest for its seventh national title starts Thursday, April 16, as the Tigers (9-3) face No. 8 Fresno State.
“I’m proud of this team that their hard work and performance through the regular season earned them the top seed at the national championship,” head coach Jessica Braswell said. “We are looking forward to heading to Ocala and facing a really good Fresno State squad.”
Auburn and Fresno State (7-5) will kick off competition at 7:30 a.m. CT. All four teams from the Southeastern Conference earned the top spots in this year’s national meet as Texas A&M is No. 2, Georgia is at No. 3 and South Carolina is seeded No. 4.
