AUBURN, Ala. – Mabry Craddock has been hired as the director of operations for Auburn gymnastics, head coach Ryan Roberts announced Monday.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Mabry to Auburn,” Roberts said. “She brings a rare combination of organization, energy and a genuine care for people that will elevate everything we do behind the scenes. Mabry has a sharp eye for detail and a relentless work ethic and those traits will directly impact our student-athlete experience in a positive way. Just as important, she understands what it means to be a part of a team and will help drive the culture we’re building here – one centered on trust, accountability and excellence. We’re excited to have her on the Plains."

Craddock joins the Auburn staff with almost 20 years of experience in coaching. She has spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania. The Quakers enjoyed a wealth of success while Craddock was a part of the staff.

This past season saw Penn major moments in program history. That included an undefeated season against GEC and Ivy League competition, a third-straight Ivy Classic title, a fifth-straight GEC regular season title and a fifth-straight GEC championship. In addition, two Penn gymnasts qualified as individuals for NCAA Regionals.

Prior to her time at Penn, she coached at Trussville Academy of Gymnastics in Trussville, Alabama. There, she worked with athletes in the development of their skills with a focus on vault and floor. She guided her gymnasts to numerous individual titles.

While coaching at Trussville, Craddock also worked as marketing and development coordinator at The Bell Center in Birmingham, Ala., which provides critical therapy for children with special needs.

Craddock worked at the University of Alabama where she served as the Gymnastics Events and Program Relations Coordinator for three seasons. In the role, she oversaw backend team logistics and development.

Her responsibilities included: assistance in the recruitment process, team development, hosting home meets that averaged more than 9,000 fans, and social media. During her time in Tuscaloosa, Craddock was able to gain valuable guidance and experience in the operation and leadership of a high-level championship program.

With the Crimson Tide, Craddock was a part of three top-three ranked teams in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), three NCAA Championship qualifying teams, and the 2021 SEC champions.

Before Alabama, Craddock spent three seasons coaching levels 3-10 at Mountain Brook Gymnastics in Birmingham, Ala., where she won multiple state individual and team championship titles two years in a row.

After graduating from Alabama in 2016, Craddock worked for The New York Yankees as Activation and Events Coordinator. She worked in both event management and social media production in this role.

Craddock graduated from Alabama in 2016 where she obtained a bachelor's degree in human performance and exercise science. While pursuing her degree, Craddock interned for the Alabama gymnastics program.
