AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn soccer and head coach James Armstrong unveiled the program’s schedule for the 2026 season Sunday. The schedule features 17 regular-season matches, including nine inside the friendly confines of the Auburn Soccer Complex.

“We wanted to build a schedule that would prepare us for the highest levels of competition,” Armstrong said. “This is a very competitive slate, with opponents who bring varying styles and strengths. Our goal was to ensure we would be tested in an assortment of environments; both home and away, so that we are fully prepared for conference play and ultimately, the NCAA Tournament.”

All matches at the Auburn Soccer Complex are free and open to the public.

Armstrong’s squad eases into the season with a pair of exhibition friendlies, first making the trip to Athens, Georgia, to face the Bulldogs on Aug. 5 before returning home to host the Eagles of Georgia Southern on Aug. 8.

The Tigers officially kickstart the season with an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent for the third straight year as Clemson heads to The Plains for a primetime matchup on Thursday, Aug. 14.

Nonconference play continues with Jax State (Aug. 16), Southern Illinois (Aug. 20), at Kennesaw State (Aug. 27), Georgia State (Aug. 30), at UAB (Sept. 3) and at Samford (Sept. 6).

Southeastern Conference action begins with the Iron Bowl of Soccer coming to The Plains on Sept. 11. Auburn’s other home conference foes include Ole Miss (Sept. 18), Tennessee (Oct. 1), Kentucky (Oct. 15) and Mississippi State (Oct. 18).

On the road in league play, Auburn will head to Missouri (Sept. 24), Arkansas (Sept. 27), Oklahoma (Oct. 9), Florida (Oct. 22) and Texas (Nov. 1).

Postseason begins with the 2026 SEC Soccer Tournament (Nov. 8-15), which will once again return to the Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Pensacola, Florida.

As always, the first four rounds of the NCAA Tournament will be hosted on campus sites. Round one begins the weekend of Nov. 20, while the fourth quarterfinal round begins the weekend of Dec. 4.

This season, the College Cup, which hosts the nation’s final four squads, returns to WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The semifinal matches will be played on Wednesday, Dec. 9. The final is set for Saturday, Dec. 12.
