Posted a 9-3 record with a 3.53 ERA, making every start of the season … recorded 90 strikeouts in 81.2 innings with an opposing batting average of .235 … tied for the conference lead in wins while ranking third in innings and strikeouts … became the program’s fifth Conference USA Pitcher of the Year, including the first since 2010 … also named All-Conference USA First Team and ABCA First Team All-Midwest Region … pitched at least 5.0 innings in 11 of his 16 starts … registered six or more strikeouts in 10 of his 16 starts earned a win in six straight starts from Feb. 23-Mar. 29 and in seven of nine starts extended through Apr. 19 … struck out eight in 4.1 innings against Illinois State (Feb. 14) … had eight strikeouts in 5.0 frames against Lafayette (Feb. 23) … tallied nine strikeouts in 5.0 innings against Central Michigan (Mar. 1) … recorded seven strikeouts in 5.2 frames against UNC Asheville (Mar. 8) … struck out six in 5.2 shutout innings at Kennesaw State (Mar. 22) … fanned a career-high 10 batters in 6.2 scoreless frames against Sam Houston (Mar. 29) … earned CUSA Pitcher of the Week honors after six strikeouts and 6.0 shutout innings at Liberty (Apr. 13) … allowed just one run in a career-high 7.0 innings with nine strikeouts against Middle Tennessee (Apr. 19) … matched a career high with 7.0 innings to go along with nine strikeouts against FIU to help advance WKU into the CUSA Championship Semifinals (May 22).
2024 – FRESHMAN SEASON AT WESTERN KENTUCKY
Appeared in 16 games while making eight starts on the mound for the Hilltoppers … posted a 2-3 record with a 5.25 ERA … had 25 strikeouts in 36.0 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .220 batting average … named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team … turned in 2.1 scoreless innings in his collegiate debut vs. Bradley (Feb. 16) … earned his first career win with four strikeouts in 4.2 frames while allowing just one run against Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 24) … pitched 3.0 scoreless innings against FIU (Mar. 24) … earned his second win with 2.0 scoreless innings vs. Liberty (Apr. 20) … allowed one or fewer runs in five of his last six appearances of the season.
