Started the first 19 games of the season before missing the final 14 games after surgery on his finger ... Reached double figures in all 19 games, averaging 16.7 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 63.8 percent (134-of-210) ... Shot 60 percent or better from field in 14 games ... Had a team-high 35 blocks, which ranked 13th in Big Ten ... Posted three double-doubles, had four 20-point games and 15 contests with 15 points or more ... His 16.7 scoring average was fifth-best by a sophomore in Hawkeye history ... Had the highest field goal percentage and seventh-most blocks ever among Iowa sophomores ... Transferred from Bradley-Bourbonnais High School to Moline High School for his senior season ... Earned Associated Press All-State and Western Big 6 honors ... Averaged 18 points and nine rebounds per game ... Helped Moline to an unbeaten run en route to a WB6 outright title and a state championship.
