Will Desmarais is in his first year as a graduate assistant with the Auburn men’s basketball program after serving four years as an undergraduate student manager.

A Spring 2025 graduate of Auburn, Desmarais earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in sports communication from the Harbert College of Business, graduating summa cum laude. His current responsibilities with the program include overseeing student managers, utilizing Hudl Sportscode software for film breakdown and analysis, assisting with day-to-day operations and equipment, managing hospitality experiences for guests of Coach Pearl and staff, and supporting various data analytics projects.

As a manager from 2021-25, Desmarais was a part of two SEC Regular Season Championships (2022, 2025), a 2024 SEC Tournament Championship, and a Final Four appearance last year. His senior year, Desmarais was nationally recognized as one of seven honorees on Grow the Game’s Manager All-American Team.

He currently splits his time between the men’s basketball program and athletic administration while pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Harbert College of Business.

Originally from Pike Road, Alabama, he is the son of John and Leigh Desmarais and has a younger brother, Wade.
