As a Senior
Fall 2008: Finished the fall with a singles record of 5-3 and a 9-2 doubles mark playing with Tim Puetz... Defeated two top-seeded opponents to make the doubles semifinals at the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional... Tsyrenov and Puetz also won the consolation doubles title at the ITA All-American Championships... Finished tied for first in doubles at the Auburn Fall Classic competing with Alex Stamchev, posting a 2-1 record... Finished the fall ranked 48th in the country... Tsyrenov and Marsoun finished the fall season ranked 10th in the country in doubles.
As a Junior
Fall 2007: Posted a 7-3 singles record in fall play, competing at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-America Tennis Championship, ITA Region 3 Tournament and Auburn Fall Classic... Also compiled a 7-3 doubles mark... Advanced to the doubles semifinals with Terence Nugent at the ITA Region 3 Tournament... Was one of three Tigers to go 3-0 at the Auburn Fall Classic.
Spring 2008: An All-SEC First Team selection... Competing exclusivly at the No. 1 position, he went 13-13 in the spring with an 11-10 dual match record and a 6-5 mark in SEC play... Went undefeated from Feb. 14 - Mar. 9, defeating five ranked opponents along the way.. His top-ranked victory was a 6-4, 6-4 win over Ole Miss[apos] Matthias Wellermann, who was ranked eighth in the nation... Picked up the match-clinching win against Arkansas, defeating No. 95 Blake Strode, 6-2, 6-2... Was the only Auburn representative in the NCAA Singles Tournament, advancing to the second round after defeating No. 102 Borja Sarco of Tennessee Tech (3-6, 6-1, 6-3)... Lost to No. 7 Lars Poerschke of Baylor, 7-5, 6-4, in the second round... Finished the spring as one of only two Tigers ranked by the ITA, coming in as the No. 32 player in the nation... Alongside Terence Nugent, he went 13-12 in double play and 5-6 against SEC opponents, finishing the season as the No. 13 doubles team in the Southeast Region.
As a Sophomore
Spring 2007: Went 12-11 overall in singles with a 4-6 mark in the SEC... Defeated Kentucky[apos]s Jorge Jorge in the SEC Championship... Was 8-0 when playing in either the No. 5 or No. 6 position... Opened the season by winning his first seven matches as a Tiger... Finished the season playing in the No. 4 position... Posted an 8-13 doubles mark (3-8 SEC)... Teamed mostly with Terence Nugent, putting together a 2-5 record... Also teamed up with Milan Krnjetin, Robbert Lathouwers, Alex Schweizer, and Lukas Marsoun.
