Alex Fagan joined the Auburn football staff in December 2025. He currently serves as the Director of Player Personnel and Scouting.

Prior to his arrival at Auburn, Fagan spent the last three seasons with head coach Alex Golesh at USF, serving as the director of scouting for the program. During his tenure, the Bulls signed the top recruiting classes in the American Athletic Conference in both 2024 and 2025.

The talent that Fagan helped acquire accounted for 23 wins in a three-year span after the program won a combined four games in the three years prior to the staff’s arrival.

Fagan also served under Golesh as a student assistant at Tennessee from 2021-22 and for a period of time at UCF from 2018-21.

Fagan started his college career at UCF in 2018 and ultimately earned his bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Tennessee in 2022.
