Braden Sheldon joined the Auburn Football staff in January 2024. He serves as assistant linebackers coach.

Sheldon worked his first year in 2024 as a defensive student assistant with the linebackers under defensive coordinator DJ Durkin. He then spent the 2025 season as an analyst with the linebacker position group.

Sheldon previously worked at Texas A&M as a student assistant from 2022-24 gaining experience in player personnel, with quarterbacks and under Durkin with linebackers. He also spent one season in 2021 at Lamar University working with quarterbacks.

A native of Beaumont, Texas, Sheldon is working towards a undergraduate degree at Auburn.
