Education: Weiss received his bachelor's in Health, Exercise, and Sport Studies from Denison University (2023). Weiss received his masters in Kinesiology with a concentration in Biomechanics from Auburn in 2025. He has his certification from the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) and has his level 1 Functional Movement Systems (FMS) certification.

Job Responsibilities: Weiss assists in programming and implementation of speed, strength, power, conditioning and general capacity work, and the functional movement aspects of the program for the Auburn Baseball team. Additionally, Weiss operates through coding languages such as Python or SQL to filter, clean, interpret, and create data analysis for players and coaches regarding weight room and on field testing with devices such as Timing Gates, Dynamo, Force Plates, Force Frame, and Kinetrax Cameras. Weiss oversees applying testing data to weight room concepts, player analysis, and player neurological flagging for fatigue management.

Experience: Before his time at Auburn, Weiss completed a summer internship at the University of Iowa for Strength and Conditioning working with Men’s Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer in 2022. Additionally, Weiss worked for three years as a Strength and Conditioning Student Intern at Denison University working with every varsity team on campus including Baseball, Basketball, and Football.

Personal: Weiss is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. As a former student-athlete, Weiss was a member of the baseball program at Denison University.
