Education: Atchley earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management from Shorter University in 2025 and his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management from Shorter University in 2024.
Job Responsibilities: As Athletic Gift Specialist, Atchley reviews and processes Tigers Unlimited and Auburn Athletics priority program payments and athletic ticket sales. He works directly with Auburn ticket purchasers to ensure their needs are met while accurately recording and reconciling ticket transactions for the Athletics Department.
Experience: Prior to his current role, Atchley served as a Gift Assistant (TES) with Auburn University Advancement Finance. Before joining Auburn, he worked as a Sports Coordinator for Rome-Floyd Parks & Recreation, a Game Day Administrator at Georgia Highlands College, and an Administrative Graduate Assistant within the Shorter University Athletics Department.
During his undergraduate career at Shorter University, an NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference, Atchley was a four-year letterwinner on the Men’s Basketball team from 2020–2024. He served as Secretary of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during the 2021–22 academic year and later as President from 2022–24. He was also a member of the Hawks Sports Society and the COSMA Chi Sigma Mu Honor Society. As a graduate student, he assisted the Athletic Director and Director of Compliance with daily operations, game day operations, and student-athlete eligibility oversight.
Personal: A native of Sylvania, Alabama, Atchley and his wife, Kenadie, now reside in Auburn. Kenadie is a member of Auburn University’s first Doctor of Physical Therapy cohort.
