Education: Clapham attended Appalachian State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Sport Nutrition. She continued her education at Appalachian State University and received a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. Clapham also holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.

Job Responsibilities: As an Assistant Sports Performance Coach, Clapham’s primary responsibilities include the development and implementation of the strength and conditioning program for Auburn Cheer while assisting with the training and performance of multiple other Olympic sport programs at Auburn.

Experience: Clapham arrives at Auburn from Appalachian State University, where she served as a Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach. During her time with the Mountaineers, she oversaw all aspects of the strength and conditioning programs for Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, and Cheer. Prior to her graduate assistant role, Clapham completed an internship with EXOS in Gulf Breeze, Florida, where she worked with professional athletes, tactical special operations personnel, and youth athletes. She began her strength and conditioning career as an intern at Appalachian State, assisting with the Women’s Soccer program.

Personal: Clapham is a native of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
