Jack Stone is in his first year as a graduate assistant for the Auburn men’s basketball team after playing collegiately at Carnegie Mellon and NYU.
 
Stone played four seasons at Carnegie Mellon University from 2020–2024, where he earned three-time University Athletic Association All-Academic honoree and three-time member of the NABC Honors Court. Stone finished his Tartans career with 1,208 points and earned All-UAA Second Team honors as a junior, leading the team in scoring with 14.6 points per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the field.

As a senior at Carnegie Mellon, he was an All-UAA First Team after averaging 13.0 points per game while helping the program to its first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 17 years.

Stone spent his graduate year (2024–2025) at NYU, where he averaged 10.0 points and 3.3 assists per game, while guiding the Violets to program records for total wins and conference victories. NYU reached the NCAA national championship game for the first time since 1994, and he was named he earned UAA honorable mention honors.

Stone graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in Business Administration in 2024 and master’s degree in sports business from NYU in 2025.
