Jake Springer joined the Auburn Football staff in February 2026. He serves as a defensive quality control assistant.

Prior to coming to Auburn, Springer spent the 2025 season as a defensive intern at Mississippi State.

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Springer played safety at Ole Miss (2021) and Navy (2017-19). He played in 39 career games with 163 total tackles, nine sacks and two interceptions. He earned All-American Athletic Conference honors in 2019.

Springer graduated from Ole Miss in 2023.
