John-Allen Stone joined the Auburn football staff in December 2025. He currently serves as the Director of Football Administration.
In his role, Stone works closely with head coach Alex Golesh to connect the coaching staff with the external athletic department units that play a part in the day-to-day and gameday operations of Auburn football.
Stone comes to Auburn after spending the previous three years as the Football Operations Coordinator/Special Assistant to the Head Coach under Golesh at USF.
In his role with the Bulls, Stone oversaw Coach Golesh’s daily itinerary and travel logistics and played a major role in the execution of Coach Golesh’s media appearances while also assisting with the operations of the football program. Stone also served as the parent liaison, communicating key dates and informative details to parents and guardians.
Prior to South Florida, Stone spent two years in football operations at Tennessee (2021-2022); one as a graduate student volunteer and one as a graduate assistant. He not only overlapped with Golesh at Tennessee, but also worked under Auburn Football General Manager Andrew Warsaw, who served as the Volunteers’ Director of Football Operations.
A graduate of Mercer in 2021, Stone served as a student assistant with the Bears for four years, assisting the staff with operations, recruiting and equipment.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports marketing & analytics and economics and went on to complete his master’s in recreation & sport management at Tennessee in 2024.
A native of Columbia, Tennessee, Stone is married to the former Bailey Alexander.
