AUBURN, Ala. - A neutral site gymnastics meet, Elevate, featuring Auburn and Alabama will take place on March 8, 2015, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Arena, the Knight Eady Sports Group announced on Tuesday.

The meet, which is in addition to the SEC meet between Auburn and Alabama, will provide a championship caliber platform for the student-athletes. The event will be staged on the podiums, which have historically only been used for the SEC and NCAA Championships.

"I'm excited we're able to use this competition to help benefit Camp Smile-A-Mile and the Ronald McDonald House," said Auburn head coach Jeff Graba. "The Ronald McDonald House is very dear to my wife and I, as we basically lived at one for a while when my youngest daughter was born. Being able to help these charities, and at the same time compete in one of the best gymnastics competitions in the country, is a terrific opportunity for our young team!"

Additionally, Elevate has joined in a unique philanthropic partnership with the Ronald McDonald House of Alabama and Camp Smile-A-Mile. These two outstanding organizations will receive recognition and proceeds through ticket sales, sponsorships, and in-venue promotions at this meet.

Through the remainder of September, Auburn gymnastics season ticket holders are able to renew their tickets for the 2015 season. The renewal deadline is Oct. 1 and tickets for the general public will on go sale on Oct. 6.
