AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Auburn women's tennis was honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic Team for the 2015-16 season. The Tigers also had four athletes selected as Scholar-Athletes.

Sofia Blanno, Pleun Burgmans, Paula de Man and Reka Muller were selected as 2016 Scholar-Athletes for their hard work in the classroom.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is presented to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale) including all varsity letterwinners.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner and have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year.
