HUMBLE, Texas - No. 15 Auburn Men's Golf finished fifth at the All American Intercollegiate carding a 1-over 289 on Sunday at the par 72, 7,067-yard AAI Course at the Golf Club of Houston to finish at 2-under 293-280-289-862.

No. 8 Baylor won the title at 28-under 284-268-284-836 while No. 1 Vanderbilt was the runner-up at 23-under 288-276-277-841.

All-SEC senior Matt Gilchrest led the Tigers at 3-under 72-71-70-213 to t-13th. The Southlake, Texas, native birdied three-straight on the back nine on Nos. 12-14 to finish the day at 2-under.

Sophomore Trace Crowe (74-70-72-216) and freshman Jovan Rebula (75-69-72-216) t-25th at even par. Sophomore Jacob Solomon t-37th at 3-over 72-72-75-219 while senior Will Long t-56th at 6-over 75-70-77-222.

Senior Ryan Benton, playing as an individual, tied with Solomon for 37th at 3-over 78-67-74-219.

Co-host Houston finished third at 12-under 283-287-282-852 followed by South Carolina (285-859), Auburn, Rice (292-865), Southeastern Louisiana (291-867), McNeese State (292-868), UTSA (285-869) and Charlotte (286-873).

Louisiana Tech and SMU t-11th at 14-over 878 followed by Wisconsin (293-880), Sam Houston State (290-883), Lamar (304-889), New Mexico State (297-890), Samford (308-903) and Houston Baptist (314-910).

Cooper Dossey of Baylor won medalist honors at 10-under 68-66-72-206.
