AUBURN, Ala. -- The No. 17 Auburn gymnastics team saw 14 season-high individual scores Friday night vs. No. 24 Arkansas in Auburn Arena, but the Razorbacks came away with the team victory, 196.375-196.075.

"I thought we actually did a really good job until the very end," head coach Jeff Graba said. "Again, we did three events very well. Overall, very happy with the team. I thought we'd solved some problems, but obviously we're not completely done working on it."

Auburn opened things on vault and finished with a season-best score of 49.050. Senior MJ Rott captured the event title with a season-high 9.9. Sophomore A'Miracal Phillips earned a season-best score in the first rotation, picking up a 9.8. Classmate Taylor Krippner also added a 9.8, while sophomore Emma Engler and freshman Katie Becker chipped in a pair of 9.775s.

The team exceled on bars once again, putting together a season-high score of 49.375. All five counted scores in the second rotation were individual bests for the Tigers. Sophomore Samantha Cerio finished with a career-high score and captured the event title with a 9.9. Freshman Kendal Moss led things off with a career score of 9.85, while redshirt senior Kelsey Kopec, Krippner, and Engler followed with 9.875s. That scored tied career bests for Krippner and Engler, while it tied a season high for Kopec.

The Tigers headed to beam and had another solid score of 49.075. Krippner anchored the apparatus for Auburn and earned a career high of 9.9 on her way to the first beam title of her career. Senior Kullen Hlawek's 9.8 to lead things off and Cerio's 9.825 were each season highs. Becker followed with a career score of 9.8 and Engler capped scoring with a 9.75.

Cerio's solid evening finished off with a 9.9 on floor, setting a career best and awarding her the event title for her second of the evening. Rott concluded the evening with a 9.875, while Becker and senior Lucia Scaglione opened things off with a pair of 9.85s. That score was a career high for each.

Auburn takes to the road again for a neutral site meet vs. No. 1 Oklahoma, Feb. 10. The Tigers and the Sooners face off in the annual Perfect 10.0 Challenge in Oklahoma City, starting at 6:45 p.m. CT.
