The 2017 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships begin on Wednesday at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Auburn has qualified 11 swimmers and two divers and will also bring along a pair of relay alternates as the team tries to build off of a third-place finish at last month's SEC Championships.

"Our relays are in great position to score and we have some really top-end talent," Auburn head coach Brett Hawke said. "Michael Duderstadt and Joe Patching are in position to make A finals and score points there. We just need to go and compete and we will score the points we need."

Auburn's 200 freestyle relay is seeded second, Michael Duderstadt is seeded sixth in the 100 breaststroke and 11th in the 200 breaststroke while Patching is 13th in the 200 IM and 200 back and 16th in the 400 IM.

On the scored-out psyche sheet, which does not include diving, Auburn is projected to place 15th with 100 points. NC State (339 pts) and Texas (329 pts) are projected to battle for the top spot.

The Championships run Wednesday through Saturday with only the 800 free relay, where Auburn is seeded 11th, taking place on Wednesday.

ESPN3.com will stream the championships finals sessions live on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday's evening session, Thursday's sessions along with the morning sessions on Friday and Saturday will be streamed live on NCAA.com and indianasportscorp.org/ncaasd. Additionally, ESPNU will air a two-hour broadcast via tape delay at 5 p.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, April 5.
