AUBURN, Ala. - Rising senior libero Jesse Earl was selected to compete for the U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team Europe Tour (CNT-Europe), USA Volleyball announced Monday, April 10.

"Being able to represent the United States while doing something I love is a dream come true," Earl said. "I can't express how grateful and excited I am to be able traveling the world, representing my country, Auburn, and my sport."

Earl, along with her teammates, will train and compete in Europe from July 5-16. The team will compete in the 13th Annual European Global Challenge, July 11-14, in Pula, Croatia. Prior to the Global Challenge, the squad will train in Maribor, Slovenia, while competing in friendly matches vs. other national teams.

"We are so proud of the work Jesse (Earl) has put in to earn this invitation to play for the United States," Auburn head volleyball coach Rick Nold said. "It is the highest honor for any athlete to represent her country in international competition and we look forward to a great tournament from Jesse and Team USA."

Athletes were selected from a group of 238 through the U.S. Women's National Team Open Tryouts held March 3-5 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
