AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The No. 7 Auburn softball team is set to host its final home non-conference game of the regular season when it welcomes Kennesaw State Wednesday evening. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Jane B. Moore Field and can be streamed on the SEC Network+.

The Tigers (36-7, 10-5 SEC) recently wrapped up a four-game week that included three wins. Victoria Draper paced the offense with a .500 average, while Alyssa Rivera notched six hits, including one home run. Carlee Wallace secured six RBI and boasted a .500 on-base percentage. Kendall Veach and Wallace also paced the Tigers with three two-out RBI.

In the circle, Makayla Martin tallied two victories and six strikeouts in two starts. Kaylee Carlson earned the series-clinching win versus Missouri Sunday afternoon and held the opposition to hit just .208 in 14 innings.

In the four games, Auburn hit .286 with runners in scoring position and limited the opponents to hit just .214 on the week.

Following its clash with Kennesaw State Wednesday night, Auburn hits the road for a three-game set at South Carolina, April 21-23.

Player to Watch: Carmyn Greenwood

Freshman Carmyn Greenwood has started the last six ballgames in the outfield and has raised her batting average nearly 80 points in that span. The Birmingham, Ala. native has laced six hits and scored four runs in her last six starts. Greenwood has also shown the ability to produce when it counts as she had a walk-off hit - a single - against SIUE in the first home game of the season.

Among the Elite

Kaylee Carlson is fifth in the country with 21 victories in 2017 and leads the entire SEC with that mark. Carlee Wallace ranks in the top 10 nationally in doubles with 15 on the season. That tally is also second in the SEC. Kendall Veach has belted the second-most home runs in the league with 10 and 15th in slugging percentage with a .593 clip, while Wallace and Kasey Cooper tout slugging percentages of .688 and .575, good for fourth and 16th in the SEC, respectively.

In the last 10 games, Auburn has touted an 8-2 record and has outscored the opposition 52-38. The Tigers have notched 22 extra-base hits, including 10 doubles, six triples and six home runs. Carlee Wallace paces the club with six. Alyssa Rivera leads the team with a .469 average.
