AUBURN, Ala. -- Fresh off a nearly month-long road trip, the No. 5/6 Auburn softball team returns to Jane B. Moore Field for a seven-game homestand, beginning with three games versus No. 21/RV Ole Miss, Friday-Sunday.
A-Day Weekend Shuttle Information
Auburn Athletics will be providing a fan shuttle to Jane B. Moore Field from the Facilities Complex parking lots for games on April 7 and April 8. The shuttle will begin operation 90 minutes before first pitch and remain in operation for 30 minutes post-game. There will be no shuttle provided for the game on Sunday, April 9. The Facilities Complex is located at 1161 W Samford Ave. The A-Day parking map will provide a complete list of parking options for the weekend.

Player to Watch: Courtney Shea
Junior catcher Courtney Shea has been the definition of clutch for the team this season. Shea has had the game-winning RBI in five contests so far in 2017, including four against ranked opponents. She even was responsible for plating the go-ahead run in all three victories at Georgia this past weekend. The Mountain Brook, Ala. native has successfully advanced runners at a .526 clip in 57 chances this season.
Player of the Week
Carlee Wallace was recently named the SEC Player of the Week, following a three-game sweep of Georgia last week - Auburn's first in program history. Wallace paced the team with a .538 average and reached base in nine of 15 plate appearances, including a perfect 4-for-4 when leading off an inning.
Inside the Series: Ole Miss
The Tigers and Rebels have squared off 57 times in series history. Auburn boasts a 41-16 advantage and has won 18 of the last 22 bouts, including seven inside the friendly confines of Jane B. Moore Field.
A Series Win by Auburn Would...
A series win by Auburn would give the Tigers their eighth consecutive series triumph against the Rebels. That mark is currently the highest series winning streak against any SEC foe for Auburn. The Tigers' next-highest current winning streak is five series versus Mississippi State.

In the last 10 games, Auburn has popped 28 extra-base hits, including 14 doubles, six triples and eight home runs. Carlee Wallace leads the charge with seven hits for extra bases, while Kendall Veach is close behind with six, including a team-high four home runs.

Carlee Wallace has embraced her new role as the primary leadoff hitter for the Tigers this season. Since her shift to the top of the lineup, the junior has led the team with a slash line of .402/.514/.768 - all top marks on the team - while scoring a team-high 24 runs. The Alpine, Calif. product has amassed 33 hits, including 11 doubles, two triples and five home runs, while hitting a scalding .610 when leading off an inning.
Hot Start
So far in 2017, Auburn has benefited greatly from scoring in the opening three innings. In the 36 games played, the Tigers have amassed 130 of their 229 runs in the opening three stanzas, good for 57 percent of their runs on the season.

As a team, the Tigers have benefited greatly from scoring three or more runs in a game this season. So far, Auburn is 29-1 when eclipsing the three-run plateau, including a perfect 17-0 when scoring seven-plus runs.
