The Auburn equestrian team added Hunt Seat rider Emma Crosbie to the incoming freshman class for 2017-18, head coach Greg Williams announced Monday.

"We are very excited to add another West Coast rider to the roster," Williams said. "Besides competing a large number of different horses on the nation's largest platform, we have seen her adjust really well on a number of horses in camps and clinics.

"She is a very capable rider that will fit in great as a team member," added Williams. "She also won the Most Valuable Female Athlete at her high school this past year, illustrating her well-rounded athletic abilities."

Crosbie will join the team in the fall, intending to major in pre-business in the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business.
