2018 Auburn Gymnastics Schedule
AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" The Auburn gymnastics team will host its annual Halloween intra-squad scrimmage Friday, Oct. 27, in the McWhorter Center beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT.
"The annual Halloween intra-squad is really our kickoff to the season," head coach Jeff Graba said. "The girls have been working extremely hard and I think they are looking forward to this event. The more fans the better Friday so we can give this young team a taste of what's to come this season."
As usual, the Tigers will be split into two teams ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" vampires and werewolves ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" and will compete in all four events. Fans will be able to see full bar and beam routines, while each member competing on floor will do their dance in addition to at least one tumbling pass.
The 2018 edition of Auburn gymnastics is a good mix of experience and youth, starting with its two seniors - Cara Stricklin and Kennedy Finister. The junior class is composed of redshirt junior Abby Milliet along with Telah Black, Samantha Cerio, Emma Engler, Taylor Krippner, and A'Miracal Phillips.
In addition to the squads four sophomores ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Katie Becker, Gracie Day, Kendal Moss, Emma Slappey ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" the fans will get to see the team's large group of freshmen in action. The newcomers are Sydney Bassett, Jada Glenn, Allie Riddle, Ashley Smith, Meredith Sylvia, and Drew Watson.
The Tigers have five meets in Auburn Arena this season with four against the SEC. That includes match-ups with Florida (Feb. 2) and Alabama (Feb. 23).
Reserved chair back premium seats for the 2018 season are available for $40 in sections 101-105 and 118. General admission seats are available in sections 106-117 for $20. Auburn faculty and staff tickets are $32 and are available in sections 101-105 and 118, while "Family Four Packs" are priced at $120 and are also available in sections 101-105 and 118.
Single meet tickets will be available for purchase Dec. 1.
