AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Daniel Carlson, Kerryon Johnson, Braden Smith and Carlton Davis were all named AFCA All-Americans on Wednesday.
Carlson was the lone first-team representative for Auburn. It's the fifth All-American honor for the senior kicker, who led the SEC in total points (117) and field goals made this season (21). He's also been a three-time Lou Groza Award finalist, and he's the career points leader (471) for the SEC and ranked No. 5 all-time nationally.
Johnson, Smith and Davis were all named to the second team.
Like Carlson, this is also Smith's fifth All-American honors. The senior started all 13 games at right guard this season, extending his streak of consecutive starts to 40 dating back to 2014.
Johnson and Davis have been nominated for four All-American teams. Johnson was also named the SEC offensive player of the year by both the Associated Press and the league's coaches. The junior led the conference with 1,320 rushing yards and 19 total touchdowns.
