AUBURN, Ala. -- After a weekend off from competition, the Auburn gymnastics team will go into the postseason at No. 16 in this week's RoadtoNationals.com Regional Qualifying Score standings. The squad has a RQS of 196.595.

"We are in a really good position as of now," head coach Jeff Graba said. "We're still in striking distance of Nos. 11 or 12 if we score well at the SEC meet Saturday. In the end, the bigger thing for us was to solidify the No. 2 seed in the afternoon session at SECs. We start on bars and end on vault, which has been one of our best events this season. It's going to be a lot of fun Saturday."

The Tigers secured the No. 6 seed at the 2018 SEC Gymnastics Championship. The two-session meet will take place Saturday, March 24, at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.

LSU captured its second-straight SEC regular season title and No. 1 overall seed in the conference meet. Florida, Alabama, and Kentucky will join LSU in the evening session at 6 p.m. CT. Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, and Missouri will go at 2 p.m. CT and the Tigers will open the meet on bars.

Individually, Auburn has a handful of Tigers that rank in the Top 15 among SEC-only competition. Freshman Drew Watson is 10th on vault with a 9.875 RQS, while sophomore Gracie Day is tied for 11th at 9.870 in the event and junior Samantha Cerio is 10th on bars a 9.890.

Redshirt junior Abby Milliet has enjoyed a wealth of success on beam and floor this year. She is tied for seventh in the SEC on beam at 9.9 and is tied for 12th on floor with a 9.895 RQS.
