CHARLESTON, S.C. -- No. 6 Auburn men's golf is currently seventh at the Hootie at Bulls Bay, carding a 1-under 287 Sunday at the par 72, 7,222-yard Bulls Bay Course.

All-America senior Ben Schlottman leads the team at 2-under 70. The Advance, N.C. product rolled in a trio of birdies and bogeyed just once in Sunday's round. Sophomore Ryan Knop is t-21st at 1-under 71. He tallied five birdies in the round on Nos. 9, 11, 15, 16 and 17.

Freshman Brandon Mancheno and junior Trace Crowe are part of an 11-way tie for 37th at 1-over 73 and sophomore Jovan Rebula is two shots back in a tie for 51st at 3-over 75.

Missouri holds the lead 10-under 278 while Kentucky (281), Iowa State (281), Kent State (281) and Ole Miss (281) are tied for second. Georgia State is sixth at 3-under 285 followed by Auburn, NC State (288), South Carolina (288), Wisconsin (289) and College of Charleston (289).

Louisville is 12th with a 290 followed by Eastern Kentucky (296), Georgia Southern (299) and Wofford (306).

Missouri's Matt Echelmeyer is the day one leader at 5-under 67.

Round two of the Hootie at Bulls Bay begins tomorrow at 8 a.m. CT as the Tigers tee-off No. 10 with South Carolina and NC State. Live scoring is available at birdiefire.com.
