AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Three student-athletes on the No. 16 Auburn gymnastics team combined for four All-SEC accolades, the league announced Thursday.

"In this conference, it is extremely difficult to get recognition like this," head coach Jeff Graba said. "I'm so proud of our gymnasts and these awards are simply just a confirmation of our bright future."

To earn All-SEC recognition, gymnasts must finish in the top two spots (including ties) per event in each SEC championship session.

A pair of Tigers earned All-SEC nods on vault in sophomore Gracie Day and freshman Drew Watson. The duo came in a tie for second overall in the meet and first in the afternoon session as each scored a 9.925 for Auburn. That score was a career high for Watson and tied a career best for Day. It also marked the second-straight year that Day has earned All-SEC nods with her first coming last season on bars.

Junior Samantha Cerio was placed on the All-SEC squad for her performance on bars. The Huntersville, N.C., product came in a tie for first in the afternoon session and tied for seventh overall with a 9.85 in the event. The honor is the second-consecutive for Cerio on bars.

In addition, Watson was placed on the SEC All-Freshman team for her placement on vault. The honor marked the fourth-straight season a Tiger has earned a spot on the newcomer squad.

Up next, Auburn will be the No. 3 seed at the Salt Lake City Regional held April 7 in the Huntsman Center.
