STILLWATER, Okla. - Junior Trace Crowe and sophomore Jovan Rebula each knocked in an eagle in their first day at the NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek Golf Club. Despite a weather delay of three hours and 28 minutes, No. 7 Auburn was able to get in 10-14 holes before the first round was postponed due to darkness Friday evening.

With the first round not fully completed, the Tigers currently stand in a tie for 22nd with No. 10 Florida and No. 12 Baylor at +6 after playing the back nine and some of the front nine. With rainy conditions during the morning, only seven of the 30 teams in the field were below par.

Crowe's eagle came on the par-5 18th hole that stretched 575 yards, while Rebula followed suit one hole later off the first tee with an eagle on the par-5, 542-yard hole.

Freshman Brandon Mancheno is even through 12 holes, while Rebula is also even through 10 holes. Senior Ben Schlottman is at +3 with five holes remaining and Crowe is also at +3 through 14 holes. Freshman Wells Padgett is +8 with just four holes left in the first round.

Northwestern currently leads the field at -8, followed by No. 2 Oklahoma (-5), No. 13 Texas Tech (-4), No. 1 Oklahoma State (-3) and No. 17 Texas (-2). Auburn is just three shots away from cracking the top 10.

Play is set to resume Saturday at 7 a.m. CT as the field looks to close out the first round. Second round tee times have been pushed back an hour in order to complete the opening 18 holes.

The Tigers begin the second round at 8:55 a.m. CT off the first tee with Baylor and Illinois in their pairing.
