SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Four Tigers produced under-par rounds on the second day of the Maui Jim Intercollegiate Saturday afternoon. Auburn shot an 8-under 272 in its second tour of Mirabel Golf Club.

Jacob Solomon matched a career-low with a 4-under 66. The senior carded a team-best eight birdies, including six on the front nine, en route to a tied for 19th overall at 4-under (70-66--136).

It was Solomon's lowest round since shooting a 66 in the final round of the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate on Oct. 10, 2017.

Brandon Mancheno moved up three positions in the leaderboard after turning in a 2-under 68 in his second circuit of the par-70 course. The sophomore did most of his damage on the front nine as he birdied three of his first five holes and carded six pars.

Mancheno is tied for 12th overall at 5-under (67-68--135).

Jovan Rebula was the third Tiger to go below par on Saturday as he finished at 1-under (69). The junior is tied for 24th at 3-under (68-69--137) after two rounds.

Ryan Knop rounded out the Auburn contingent to shoot in the 60s as he matched Rebula with a 1-under 69. Despite running into some trouble on the second hole, the junior went bogey-free in the final 16 holes, highlighted by five birdies and 11 pars. 

He is tied for 48th on the individual leaderboard at 1-over for the tournament (72-69--141).

Graysen Huff and Wells Padgett ended their rounds at 2-over (72) and 3-over (73), respectively. Huff is tied for 51st at 2-over (70-72--142), while Padgett is tied for 56th at 3-over (70-73--143).

The Tigers climbed up the team leaderboard to fifth following their best round of the season.

Arizona State and LSU are tied for the lead at 23-under (537), followed by Georgia Tech (539), NC State (546), Auburn (547), Kent State (549), Clemson (549), Oregon State (552), Oregon (552), Augusta (553), Houston (553), Georgia State (554), Minnesota (558) and Kansas State (564).

Auburn is paired with Clemson and NC State for the final round at Mirable GC. The Tigers begin off the first tee, starting at 9:50 a.m. CT. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
