AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn senior Brandon Laubser reached the finals of the B singles flight at the Longhorn Invitational hosted by Texas at the Texas Tennis Center in Austin, Texas, highlighting a successful tournament for the Tigers.

Laubser posted three consecutive singles victories before his final match versus Mikhail Sokolovskiy of UCF was rained out Sunday. Laubser, paired with sophomore Tad Maclean, went 3-0 in doubles play over the weekend as well.

Maclean was 3-1 in singles, while Tim Dollman was 1-2 and Matteo DeVincentis was 0-2 for the Tigers. DeVincentis and Dollman went 1-2 in their doubles matches.

Other teams participating included Baylor, Iowa, Liberty, Louisville, LSU, Louisiana-Lafayette, Marquette, Miami, St. Edwards, TCU, Texas Tech, Tyler Junior College, Tulane, UCF and the host Texas Longhorns.

The Longhorn Invitational concludes the fall tournament season for the Tigers.
