Auburn got off to its best start in program history at 9-0-0 and ultimately finished with a 12-6-2 overall record and 4-5-1 mark in the SEC … the season was the team's 17th winning season in 20 years under head coach Karen Hoppa, including its 15th season of 10 or more wins … the Tigers also advanced to the SEC Tournament for the 18th straight season – second longest streak in SEC – and finished the season in the NCAA Tournament for the 16th time under Hoppa … Auburn went 8-0-0 against non-conference competition and outscored its non-conference opponents 29-3 … it marked the second time in program history the team finished non-conference play with a perfect record … the team rose to as high as No. 9 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll on Sept. 11, marking the second-highest ranking in program history … the Tigers posted nine shutouts, marking the fourth most in a single season in program history … the team also totaled 130 points on 42 goals and 46 assists … all three statistics registered in the top 10 in program history – assists, T6th; points, 7th; goals, T7th … Hoppa recorded her 300th career win in a 1-0 victory at Missouri on Oct. 14 … she became the 28th head coach in the history of the sport and eighth female head coach to amass 300 career wins at the Division I level … the Tigers defeated Alabama in the Iron Bowl of Soccer for the sixth straight season and 11th time in the last 12 years … junior midfielder Bri Folds led the team with a career-high nine goals and 25 points while adding seven assists … she finished in the top five in the conference in all three categories … Folds went on to become the 11th United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region honoree and sixth All-American in program history … redshirt senior goalkeeper Sarah Le Beau finished her career ranked second in program history in shutouts (28), third in goals against average (1.09) and fourth in saves (35) … she also set the SEC record for consecutive starts by a goalkeeper (87) and tied the mark for career starts by a goalkeeper (87).
