AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's basketball team is back in Auburn Arena Thursday night as they play host to Old Dominion in the season's second contest. Game time is set for 6 p.m. CT.
The Tigers (1-0) are looking to build off the momentum from a season-opening 84-82 win over Wofford last Wednesday. In that game, Auburn built a 17-point third-quarter lead and held off a late Wofford rally to secure the victory. Junior Unique Thompson had 25 points and 13 rebounds, and senior Daisa Alexander scored 22 points to push the Tigers to the win.
Old Dominion (1-0) is coming off a 59-44 win over Campbell in its season opener last Friday. This will be the seventh meeting between Auburn and ODU; the Tigers own a 4-2 advantage in the series.

›› An 18-5 run early in the second half helped Auburn pull away and not look back in an 82-59 win over Old Dominion in the second round of the 2014 WNIT at Auburn Arena.
›› Tyrese Tanner led the Tigers with 24 points while also dishing out a team-best 5 assists along with four rebounds and two steals. Peyton Davis and Katie Frerking added 12 and 11 points, respectively, off the bench. Davis just missed a double-double with a team-high 9 rebounds.
